Forest Cottage stands on the edge of peaceful woodland
Forest Cottage is the perfect place to unwind – set in a very quiet hamlet with views of the Berwyn Mountains from the pretty garden and miles of local footpaths waiting to be explored.
Forest Cottage is a 2 bedroomed former quarry cottage in the hamlet of Treflach. You can enjoy a self catering break, or we can provide breakfast baskets and ‘ready to heat’ evening meals for that really relaxing break.
Treflach is just a few miles from Oswestry, a bustling border market town with a vibrant cafe culture and a wealth of good places to eat and shop.
Just 25 minutes drive takes you to either the Roman city of Chester or Shropshire’s county town, Shrewsbury- renowned for its black and white buildings and as the birthplace of Charles Darwin. You can also enjoy fabulous scenic drives in this breath-taking border land towards Snowdonia and the North Wales coast.

Dogs are welcome in Forest Cottage which is surrounded by footpaths and also only .6 of a mile from the Offa’s Dyke Path.
The cosy lounge features a log burner (logs supplied) and an oak floor with warm furnishings inspired by the local woodland.
For your entertainment there is a TV with built in DVD player, radio with ipod docking station and numerous books and games.
You will find plenty of guide books, tourist information and maps for lazy evenings spent browsing and planning your holiday.
